CHAPTER ONE · STARTING AGAIN

A life rebuilt through useful work.

Can one man rebuild his whole life, one project at a time - in public?

Bring me a real problem. I’ll build something useful. The work moves us both forward.

THE HONEST PART · MARK D

I got quiet. Then I started again.

THEN

I followed the wrong people.

Bad friendships became bad habits. Bad habits became addiction. Slowly, I stopped recognizing the direction of my own life.

THE TURN

I chose to stop.

No dramatic promise—just one honest day after another. Those days have now become two sober years.

NOW

My world is intentionally small.

Home. Gym. Work. Repeat. I’m protecting the reset until my habits and confidence are strong enough for a wider life again.

I rebuild through exchange.

Not pity. Not begging. Useful work, fair payment, visible proof—and a community that can see every real step.

Two years sober. The foundation, not the victory lap. The work is the next step.

WHERE THINGS STAND

Old laptop. Real ability.

A 2020 M1 MacBook Air. 256GB. It still works hard. Some ideas simply need more room.

Bills keep moving. So do I. Visible work. Fair pricing. Better tools, earned project by project.

WORKING SETUPMacBook Air · M1 · 256GBStill building. Ready for the next mission.

FIRST CHECKPOINT · THE DOMAIN

Right now, there is not a spare dollar for a domain without taking it from food or basic needs. The site therefore begins on free tiers. The first earned approximately $20 creates one permanent public address—easier to verify, harder to imitate, and safer to share.

A domain improves identity and continuity, but it does not guarantee that a site is trustworthy. The public ledger, secure payments, and consistent delivery must earn that trust.

THE DIFFERENCE

You get value. I earn the next step.

You bring the problem. I build the result. The payment moves the public line. Simple.

THE $200,000 ROAD

Six chapters. One open now.

$300 a week to keep going.

Green means now. Everything else can wait.

A GOOD PLACE TO START

What needs fixing?

Worldwide work. Scope first. Then a fair USD recommendation—based on the job, not your country or my story.

ONE PROJECT · TWO KINDS OF PROGRESS

Your project becomes proof.

You get the result. I earn the next step. With permission, the finished work proves this comeback is real.

NOTES FROM THE CLIMB

The good weeks and the quiet ones.

Trust needs more than a progress number. The journal records decisions, corrections, work, and weeks when the line does not move.

ENTRY 001 · THE BEGINNINGWhy I wrote the whole plan down

A plan nobody can inspect is only a daydream. This is the first public note—and the standard future updates have to meet.

No money? You can still move it.

One honest share can find the next client. Verified help gets its own place on the board.

BIGGER THAN ONE PERSON

It starts with me. It grows into “we.”

The work begins with my own reset, but stability never belongs to one person alone. A reliable vehicle, a home, a studio, and savings create breathing room for the family around me too.

The goal is not to disappear from life. It is to return to it prepared—with steady habits, useful work, and something durable we built together.

HONEST QUESTIONS

Ask before you trust.

The questions I would ask too.

Is this a donation page?+

No. The main path is fair exchange: you bring a real problem, receive completed work, and the agreed payment moves the public roadmap.

How is my project priced?+

No price appears before the scope. Every brief is reviewed by me personally, and no price is invented.

When do I pay?+

Only after scope, terms, and price are accepted. Projects under $100 are prepaid; $100–$500 projects use 50% upfront with the balance governed by the written agreement; work above $500 is milestone-based after discussion.

Will my project become public?+

Only with permission. A private client may appear as “Private client,” and confidential files, strategy, and identifying information stay private.

Where does each payment go?+

Completed work enters the public ledger and advances the active roadmap chapter. Provider fees and other deductions should be recorded separately rather than hidden.

Can I help without spending money?+

Yes. Yes. One unique verified public share earns one supporter point. Duplicate or private links do not count, and paid work remains separate from community support.

Is everything already automated?+

No. Everything here is handled by me personally. The public forms and the roadmap work now. Direct payments and file delivery open once their security requirements are ready.
